She now serves as the Director of Corporate Communications at UNC Health\, aligning her professional passions with the crucial healthcare industry. \n\n \nJennifer Swanson\, MD\, FACEP\, ACC\nExecutive Coach * Healthcare Management Consultant * Associate Certified Coach * Entrepreneur \nOver the course of her physician career\, Jennifer Swanson served as an executive leader in 4 different specialty areas of medicine:  Emergency Medicine\, Urgent Care\, Occupational Medicine and Primary Care. SUMMARY:Sexual Harassment Workshop - Part 2
DESCRIPTION:The Carolina Seminar Series\, The Carolina Women’s Center and WISDOM (Women in Science Deserve Opportunities and Mentoring) present a Two Part Series on Sexual Harassment in Academia.  \n\nPART 1: THE WEBINAR\nDr. Karen Kelsky will share what she learned from conducting the Sexual Harassment in the Academy Survey\, including thoughts on the range and scope of sexual harassment in academic settings\, patterns of predation\, options for survivors\, recommendations to institutions\, and particular vulnerabilities of women of color and of queer and transgender women. There will be a 30 minute Q&A session at the end with Dr. Kelsky. \nPART 2: THE WORKSHOP\nThis workshop is geared towards faculty of all genders and ranks. Through interactive discussion and activities led by campus and community facilitators\, the workshop will address the continuum of harassment\, how bystanders can intervene effectively\, and UNC resources and reporting options around sexual discrimination and harassment. Lunch will be provided. \nThe webinar will be April 18th from 12:00pm -1:30pm and the workshop will be April 24th from 12:00pm-4:00pm.
