The Academy of Educators invites interested faculty to save the date and register for the upcoming Faculty Development workshop with Christina Shenvi, MD, PhD, FACEP on November 7th<\/sup> from 12:00 – 1:00PM in Bondurant 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Participants will learn how to:
\n-Design effective powerpoint presentations using cognitive load theory as a guiding principle
\n-Create a powerful beginning and ending to their presentation
\n-Use resets or pauses in their lectures to regain and retain audience interest and participation
\n-Tune their message to the audiences “WIIFM” wavelength
\n-Understand how to design, practice, and deliver powerful, memorable, and effective presentations<\/p>\n
