This leadership perspective aligns with our organizational value of Leading the Way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leadership coaching<\/strong> is an experiential process that involves a partnership between a coach and leader. It is a thought-provoking and creative process designed to maximize potential and address the specific goals and intended outcomes of the leader. Participate in all 10 classes offered over a 3-month period or pick and choose a minimum of 6 classes to be eligible to participate in the next level coach program offering: Practicing Coaching Skillsets. The program is 14 hours of in-class practice, in addition to time spent practicing skills with a peer between sessions. The first PCS cohort will begin in May 2026; applications will open at the end of March. Applicants must have participated in at least 6 Exploring Coaching Skillsets sessions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><i><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Looking for the Leader as Coach program? The academy is designed for faculty and staff who are dedicated and passionate about coaching. Participants in this program graduate with the title, Develop Me Leadership Certified Professional Coach, and are well-positioned to coach teammates in the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2022, five cohorts have graduated from the academy. Cohort 6 is underway and will graduate in April 2026. The selection process for the seventh cohort will begin in April and is set to launch in September 2026. These highlighted several indicators of the successful implementation of a coaching culture in the organization.
