Join the School of Medicine\u2019s Task Force to Review and Revise the Guidelines for Promotion and Tenure for a town hall discussion on the current guidelines<\/a> for appointments, promotion, and tenure and the Provost\u2019s Report of the UNC-Chapel Hill Taskforce on Promotion and Tenure Policies and Practices<\/a>. The task force has been formed by the SOM Faculty Affairs and Diversity Leadership Committee, governed by the SOM\u2019s Academic Council.<\/p>\n

The task force is soliciting feedback from faculty of all ranks, departments, and tracks to provide feedback on the guidelines and Provost\u2019s recommendations via town halls and targeted meetings.\u00a0This discussion is for all fixed term faculty on the administration or community services tracks within the School of Medicine. If you cannot attend but want to share your feedback, please email it to Morgan Resnick-Kahle<\/a>, Assistant Director for Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, or Dr. Cam Enarson<\/a>, Vice Dean for Strategic Initiatives.
