Foust Medical Alumni Distinguished Teaching Professor, is a North Carolina native who has been at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since medical school. She says, \u201cit has been impossible to leave this wonderful place!\u201d Dr. Wilson splits her time between seeing older adults as a geriatrician in the Department of Medicine, serving as President of the UNC SOM Academy of Educators, and working with medical students in several different roles: PCC tutor, Transition Course Co-Director, AI Course Director, and Director of the Scholarly Concentration Care of the Older Patient. Dr. Wilson\u2019s research includes a multicenter study on Internal Medicine Residents discussions of code status and ongoing evaluations of innovative geriatric curriculum for medical students.
