She is also the Associate Dean of Faculty Advancement within the UNC Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development. Dr. Taylor has served in numerous leadership roles for over 20 years at the UNC School of Medicine, including several years as associate director of the McAllister Heart Institute. She leads school-wide efforts to clarify and streamline various issues about Advancement, Promotion, and Tenure (APT). Dr. Taylor is a UNC Institute of Arts and Humanities\u2019 Academic Leadership Program graduate.
