The event, sponsored by the Association of Professional Women in Medical Sciences (APWIMS) and the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 12-1PM<\/b> \u2013 location: Bondurant G100. <\/b>Register here to attend. <\/b><\/a>Registration closes on Friday, January 24, 2020.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The\u00a0panel will engage women faculty in discussions of the challenges of balancing life events \u2013childbirth, child-rearing, illness, caregiving, elder care \u2013 with balancing positive a career trajectory. The panel will be moderated by the APWIMS President, Wanda Nicholson, MD, MPH, MBA, and the panelists are: Michelle Floris-Moore, MD, MS <\/b>(Medicine), Amy Gladfelter, PhD <\/b>(Biology), Joanne M. Jordan, MD, MPH <\/b>(Medicine), Mary Kimmel, MD <\/b>(Psychiatry), and Christina Shenvi, MD, PhD <\/b>(Emergency Medicine).<\/p>\n

The event will begin at 12PM with introductions, and there will be a panel discussion until 12:40PM.\u00a0 Following the discussion, there will be a Q&A with panelists before closing remarks.<\/p>\n
