Save the date and register for the workshop “Educational Theories that will Change Your Practice – A 90 minute Workshop” with Christina Shenvi, MD, PhD, FACEP on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 12:00 – 1:30PM (90 minutes)<\/em>\u00a0in Bondurant G010<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n
After this session, participants will be able to:<\/div>\n
\n
    \n
  1. Explain the major tenets of behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism.<\/li>\n
  2. Understand how to apply the concepts of adult learning theory to their next course or teaching session.<\/li>\n
  3. Understand how self-worth theory explains why learners (and teachers!) make excuses and procrastinate, and how to avoid this in their own lives.<\/li>\n
  4. Understand the Master Adaptive Learner model and how to apply it in their teaching.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

    RSVP by March 2nd<\/a> to attend the workshop live or online. Lunch will be provided.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
