My approach to health care begins with trying to understand what is important to each patient, and then crafting a plan with them to achieve their health and wellness goals. My interests include expanding access to health and health care for everyone, sports medicine, women’s health and care for transgender and gender nonbinary patients.

-Dr. Olewinski

I attended medical school at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York, and matched to Denver, Colorado for my residency in Family Medicine. Before moving to Chapel Hill, I completed a Sports Medicine fellowship in Madison, Wisconsin, where I worked as a team doctor for the Badgers. In my spare time I race bikes (road, track, and cyclocross) and spend time with my friends and family.
