Dr. Christie Alexander, Class of 2015, will be taking a one-year leave of absence from Florida State University College of Medicine to serve the small town of Marfa, Texas. Dr. Alexander will be running a small, rural practice near the Mexican border that serves as the community’s anchor for health care. She looks forward to returning with new skills and a new perspectives that can be taught to and shared with our students, faculty, staff and community.
