We had a great time at our March 1st Faculty Development Fellowship Alumni event! We heard from fantastic speakers and participated in activities that ignited, refreshed, and reconnected our current fellows and alumni.
Part of the event was UNC Family Medicine’s Annual Huntley Lecture, whose guest speaker was Dr. Paul James, the Chair of Family Medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. James grew up in rural North Carolina and graduated from UNC School of Medicine. He gave a great talk entitled, “Creating a Better Tomorrow: Building Family Medicine Agency to Pursue Truth, Justice, and Healthcare Equity.”
Our next alumni event will be during the STFM Annual Spring Conference in Tampa, Florida, on April 30 at 7:00pm – sign up HERE!
