UNIVERSITY TRACK RESIDENT

Hey there! My name is Allison and I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. I now call North Carolina home since I moved here for college and never left! I attended UNC- Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar and studied biology and women’s and gender studies. As an undergraduate, I fell in love with both the sciences and the humanities. I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could work with people, be involved in advocacy, and use my scientific brain- which led me to medicine!

I decided to continue my education at the UNC School of Medicine. While in medical school, I was selected to be a FIRST Scholar. As part of the FIRST program, I participated in a three-year accelerated medical school curriculum to fast-track into the UNC Family Medicine Residency Program. After residency, I plan to work as a primary care provider in an underserved area of the state. I hope to serve the people of North Carolina for years to come.

I am thrilled to be staying in Chapel Hill for residency! My clinical interests include women’s health, behavioral health, adolescent medicine, and gender affirming care. In my free time, I enjoy cheering on the Tar Heels, hiking with my basset hound, and exploring Durham restaurants with my partner. I look forward to seeing you in clinic!
