Brian Huggins, DO is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011.  He completed a surgical internship in a combined program with Wright-Patterson AFB and the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.  Following internship, he served six years as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, three years at Eielson AFB as the Chief of Aerospace Medicine and three years at NATO AB Gielenkirchen, Germany serving as the Aerospace Medicine Section Commander.  He will be completing an MPH with emphasis in Health Policy and Management, and will also be obtaining a Certificate in Community Preparedness and Disaster Management.  He would like to continue to work in the public sector assisting with disaster planning, communicable disease tracking, and policy development.
