Cancer Center Tobacco Treatment Specialist

Colleen Meyer graduated from Miami University with a degree in Anthropology and from Ohio State University in 2012 with her Masters of Social Work. She has experience in community mental health providing trauma therapy to survivors of violent crimes and traumatic events, as well as experience in treating substance abuse needs in a residential setting. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Colleen joined the Tobacco Treatment Program in 2018 and is passionate about treating trauma and mental health issues, addressing employee burnout and compassion fatigue, and providing new social workers with learning environments that are hands-on and collaborative.
