Niketa Williams, MD, MS, MPH earned her Medical Degree in 2016 and a Masters of Science in Clinical Research in 2013, both from the University of Pittsburgh. After working in health research and health program management in sub-Saharan Africa following graduation, Niketa completed a Transitional Year Internship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. She is interested in exploring biopsychosocial models of health care access and delivery; in designing and streamlining targeted health programming; and in implementing health empowerment initiatives among medically under-served communities in the U.S. and abroad. She intends to complete an MPH at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
