Preventive Medicine Resident

Xinran (Richard) Hu, MD, MPH graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a pediatric internship, a public health master’s program, and a global health fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. He then served as an advisor for World Health Organization’s Health Literacy Demonstration Project and an adjunct faculty at Yale University. Richard looks forward to the preventive medicine training at UNC as he prepares for career opportunities integrating health literacy strategies for health promotion, protection, and preparedness.
