Rui Ariyapala MD, EdM originally grew up in New Zealand before he graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in the United Kingdom with a master’s degree from Harvard University, focusing of medical technology, education, and innovation. He has worked in the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK and in the wider community as a public health physician. He was Chief Transitional Year Resident in Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey. He has been involved in digital health startup projects in telemedicine, medical writing and communications. He has specific interests in the intersection of preventive medicine, digital health and lifestyle medicine.
