DESCRIPTION:The Optimizing Outcomes: MMHSUD Summit brings together healthcare and public health professionals from across North Carolina to advance maternal mental health care. The Summit will provide updates on screening\, treatment\, and integrated care approaches for maternal mental health and substance use disorders\, while highlighting strategies that reduce stigma and improve access to care. Participants will engage in peer-to-peer learning across perinatal care regions\, explore emerging recommendations and resources\, and identify practical strategies to support practice change and improve outcomes for perinatal patients and families. \nTarget Audience:\nPhysicians (OB/GYN\, family medicine\, primary care\, psychiatry\, specialists)\, advanced care practitioners\, behavioral health and substance use professionals (psychologists\, therapists\, social workers\, counselors)\, nurses\, doulas and support teams\, as well as others interested from across North Carolina. \nThis activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ \nRegistration coming soon. \nWake Area Health Education Center.
