In this session, we will discuss how factors such as trauma and resilience supports can have a bidirectional relationship with brain chemistry, human behavior, and social drivers of health like access to employment and housing. We will review how medications for addiction treatment are particularly effective at improving outcomes due to direct intervention into these complex neurological pathways.
