The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will serve as the Midwest regional Hub. The College of Medicine has a state-of-the-art simulation center with over a decade of POCUS simulation, training, and experience. The simulation center includes over a dozen cart-based ultrasound machines, a needle simulator, and anatomy and pathology simulator (EVE). Ohio State has an intensive medical student ultrasound curriculum, and many students serve as trained simulated ultrasound patients, a mutually beneficial program to students learning clinical medicine and faculty\/trainees learning POCUS.<\/p>\n

Ohio State has been a leader in POCUS and family medicine POCUS with an established POCUS fellowship with a family medicine track. A total of 6 fellows have been trained at Ohio State and now practice in various domains including academics, global health, and community medicine.<\/p>\n
