The curriculum centers on Tier 1 and Tier 2 applications identified by the STFM POCUS Task Force as the highest-priority for family medicine practice.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of a single day, participants will rotate through short didactic sessions and small-group scanning labs (3:1 ratio) with expert national faculty. You\u2019ll learn practical image acquisition techniques and image interpretation with an emphasis on how to integrate POCUS into real-world clinical decision-making rather than just memorizing images.<\/p>\n<p><em>Please note that you will have access to free lecture content for basic ultrasound knowledge, i.e., knobology &amp; physics<\/em><em>.\u00a0<strong>It is strongly encouraged that you review these materials prior to attending the workshop.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>This workshop is ideal for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinicians who are\u00a0<strong>new to ultrasound<\/strong>\u00a0and want a clear, structured introduction.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and residents who want to experience POCUS and understand its value\u00a0<strong>without committing to a 2- or 3-day workshop<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Programs interested in \u201ctesting the waters\u201d with POCUS training and building early momentum for a broader curriculum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This intensive one-day PRIME workshop is designed to give family medicine clinicians a focused, hands-on introduction to the most important point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) applications for family medicine.
