She graduated from Duke with a degree in Psychology. In 2013, Laurel graduated from the School of Social Work at UNC Chapel Hill and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate and Tobacco Treatment Counselor. She has always been passionate about working with people individually and in groups, helping them to reach their health goals. Laurel is the Director of the Nicotine Dependence Program and the Weight Management Program at UNC Hospital.
