We participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aamc.org\/services\/eras\/\">Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) <\/a>so the screening process will be based on information available through that system. After screening, we will offer interviews to candidates whose abilities, personal interests and needs best match this program&#8217;s philosophy and curriculum. Interviews begin in early October, and are conducted through the end of January each year. Partners are welcome and are encouraged to join any virtual gatherings with the applicant at the time of the interview or during the interview season.<\/p>\n<p>Complete applications consist of all of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Dean&#8217;s letter of recommendation&#8211;This is your school&#8217;s MSPE<\/li>\n<li>A transcript of medical school course work<\/li>\n<li>Completed application forms<\/li>\n<li>Three letters of recommendation from clinical faculty<\/li>\n<li>An interview<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each year the University track has 8 spots and the FQHC track offers 6 spots; you only need to apply to the UNC program once. However when it comes time to rank your choices, there are 2 separate match numbers to do so.
