Since its debut, nearly 500 episodes of YOUR HEALTH\u00ae have aired, sharing more than 1,500 research articles with the public, answering more than 1,500 listener \u201chouse call\u201d questions, and reaching almost every country across the globe. YOUR HEALTH\u00ae received several awards for community service from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-12457 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/fammed\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/454\/2020\/01\/yourhealth-1-1024x678.png\" alt=\"Your Health hosts\" width=\"388\" height=\"257\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/fammed\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/454\/2020\/01\/yourhealth-1-1024x678.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/fammed\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/454\/2020\/01\/yourhealth-1-300x199.png 300w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/fammed\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/454\/2020\/01\/yourhealth-1-768x508.png 768w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/fammed\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/454\/2020\/01\/yourhealth-1-600x397.png 600w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/fammed\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/454\/2020\/01\/yourhealth-1.png 1203w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/>\u201cAs the only independent radio platform of its kind in an academic health center in the United States, YOUR HEALTH\u00ae\u00ad\u2014and the team behind the show\u2014accumulated a tremendous number of accomplishments to celebrate,\u201d said Goldstein, Professor of Family Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Among those accomplishments is the show\u2019s reputation for tackling the most important and difficult medical and ethical issues of our time, including climate change, gun violence, sexual violence, racism, child abuse, domestic violence, alcohol, opioids and more. YOUR HEALTH\u00ae served as a trusted source for listeners and, with UNC\u2019s health science librarians, made the show a wealth of health information always accessible to the public. \u201cAnyone can access any research, guest, or patient question that we answered anytime from anywhere, by going to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourhealthradio.org\">www.yourhealthradio.org<\/a>\u201d said Goldstein.<\/p>\n<p>Every week, YOUR HEALTH\u00ae welcomed expert guests, ranging from Pulitzer Prize winners to Nobel Laureates, Deans and CEOs, and editors of major medical publications such as NEJM and JAMA.
