As per University policy, Shared Resource Labs (SRLs) or “Core” facilities, are required to reevaluate their rates every 2-year period to reflect current usage levels, changes in institutional support, maintenance costs, and personnel costs. Updated Flow Core rates will take effect May 1, 2025, for all users<\/strong>. See rate changes in iLabs or below:<\/p>\n

We are writing to inform you of upcoming changes to our rates and policies, effective <\/span>May 1, 2025<\/span><\/b>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As many of you know, we are entering a volatile and uncertain academic financial climate in the next few years. Our rates reflect what it costs to maintain our facility at our current usage level and the current level of financial support we receive from the university. They also reflect the increasing maintenance, personnel, and consumable costs we are already seeing and anticipating in the next two years.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We recognize the uncertainty surrounding research funding in the coming years and remain committed to delivering value to our users.
