I direct the UNC Neuroscience Center Bioinformatics Core and serve as co-Principal of the UNC School of Medicine Bioinformatics and Analytics Research Collaborative (BARC). My groups provide bioinformatics support to laboratories on campus performing high-throughput sequencing-based experiments, and help guide experimental design, execution, data processing, data analysis, and biological interpretation. Our expertise is in the gene expression and gene regulation space, utilizing RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, and CUT&RUN in bulk tissues, cultured cells, or single-cells.
