He <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">co-founded large consortia (PGC-overall, PGC-MDD, GAIN-MDD, Tobacco and Genetics Consortium, AN <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">Genetics Initiative), was on the leadership and writing teams for others (International Schizophrenia <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">Consortium, PGC-schizophrenia), began the Swedish Schizophrenia Study, is the point person for <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">collaborations of the PGC with ENIGMA and CHARGE, and helped catalyze the formation of multiple new <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">PGC groups (OCD, PTSD, anorexia nervosa, and drugs\/alcohol). He was co-PI of a trans-disciplinary NHGRI <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">Center of Excellence in Genomic Science (with Prof Pardo-Manuel de Villena), and was the PI of a large eQTL <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">study. He leads a sizable effort to \u201cdecode\u201d the molecular and cellular effects of genetic variation implicated in <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">schizophrenia. He has been a programmer and analyst for over 30 years and has considerable experience in <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.43em\">\u201comics\u201d studies in human and mouse.
