\nGreg Bowen is the new Director of the Integrated Genomics Core at UNC Chapel Hill. A career lab management professional, Greg has experience leading complex chemistry, biology, engineering, and life sciences research teams and facilities.

Piotr Mieczkowski <\/h2> \n \n

\nDr. Mieczkowski provides consultations to plan and design new studies. This includes selecting the best technology platform to meet an investigator\u2019s research needs. He also takes a lead role in identification, testing and roll out of new cutting edge technologies that keep the HTSF in the forefront of genomics research.

Hemant Kelkar <\/h2> \n \n

Bioinformatics Director <\/strong>
\nDr. Kelkar started managing information technology and bioinformatics infrastructure for UNC-HTSF at its inception. He presently retains responsibility for oversight of all types of sequence data generated at UNC-HTSF. He works closely with other groups in HTSF and across campus to maintain quality and integrity of sequence data produced by UNC-HTSF.<\/p>\n

Katherine A. Hoadley <\/h2> \n \n

Associate Director for Cancer Genomics <\/strong>
\nDr. Hoadley has been a long time member of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) project that has comprehensively characterized over 10,000 samples from 33 tumor types. UNC HTSF was one of the main RNA sequencing centers for the TCGA project and participated in the gene expression analysis for many of these projects. Currently, Dr. Hoadley oversees the analysis side of HTSF collaborative work with new NCI programs and collaborations such as the HCMI, ALCHEMIST, MoonShot, CTSA and CPTAC
