Disability Seating for Graduation
Disability Seating Requests – After discussing the issue with Memorial Hall, it was decided that graduates DO NOT need to call in to reserve handicapped seating. Instead, Memorial Hall will reserve enough handicapped seats to honor all requests received by the MS4 class presidents via the Google RSVP form sent out several weeks ago. To get one of these seats, you just need to find a Memorial Hall staffer on the morning of graduation (please arrive early!) and they will direct the handicapped individual of your party and ONE other family member to the handicapped seating section.
Again, please remind your family members that there is very limited handicapped parking in front of Memorial Hall (and zero parking at Memorial Hall itself), so they need to arrive in plenty of time (see: well before 9:45am) to drop off the handicapped member of your party (as well as an escort) and then go find parking. There is a parking lot across the street from Memorial Hall (which sometimes fills quickly, and additional parking can be found in nearby public lots (behind the Newman Center and in Bell Tower parking deck).
