Education

BA in Sociology, Minor in Women’s Studies from the Colorado College; BS in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; MS in Microbiology and Cell Science (with a concentration in Medical Microbiology and Biochemistry) from the University of Florida

Teaches/Directs

Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Basic and Molecular Laboratory Methods, clinical courses in Immunology and Molecular Microbiology

Research/Scholarly Interests 

The impact of electronic health record access on patient experience with laboratory testing and result interpretation, and the role of the medical laboratory as an education source for patients receiving clinical laboratory services.
