Medical Lab Specialist for the Region 4 Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Center. This employee will staff the lab when \/ if we have a patient admitted to the response center as well as responsible for all validations and maintenance.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include performing laboratory testing for patients admitted to the Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Center, training additional laboratory staff on equipment used in the treatment center and adherence to all regulatory guidelines. Candidate needs excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment team. Individual will be responsible for writing and reviewing all laboratory policies and procedures, reviewing patient testing results, quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting and management reports. Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently.<\/p>\n
