Allison Bolin, MS OTR/L, received a BS in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a MS in Occupational Therapy with a Certificate in Aging from UNC- Chapel Hill in 2006. She has worked in long-term care, skilled nursing, acute care, inpatient rehab and adult outpatient settings. Since 2010, she has served as the Director of Rehabilitation Services at UNC Chatham Hospital with a practice area emphasis on Administration and/or Management, focusing on lean process improvement and management initiatives. In 2011, she was selected to participate in the AOTA Leadership Development Program for Middle Managers and recently completed the UNC HCS Advanced Leadership Academy in 2018. Allison is an ongoing member of NCOTA and AOTA and has presented at both the state and national conferences as well as the North Carolina Critical Access Hospital Learning and Action Network on therapy staffing productivity and North Carolina Hospital Association Critical Access Quality Collaborative on sustain HCAHPS scores. Allison is thrilled to return to her alma mater as an adjunct faculty member. She lives in Pittsboro, North Carolina and enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, and traveling.
