SUMMARY:Annual Ethics Event: "Balancing Acts: The Intersection of Power\, Advocacy\, and Moral Courage in Occupational Therapy Practice"
DESCRIPTION:The UNC Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy is pleased that Dr. Sue Coppola will be presenting “Balancing Acts: The Intersection of Power\, Advocacy and Moral Courage in Occupational Therapy Practice” at this year’s Ethics Event. \nWe hope you’ll be able to join us for this free hybrid event.  \nZoom link \nAbout Sue Coppola \nDr. Coppola spent more than 25 years teaching\, mentoring and serving at UNC\, and the Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy celebrates her incredible legacy and impact on fellow faculty\, staff and students. Over the years\, Sue has championed IPE\, the arts and humanities\, and international learning opportunities not only as part of the MS OT program but across the university. She has worked to see these teaching innovations be delivered with much care and become institutionalized across the university. Her dedication to student learning – and her own learning – is evident in all she does. She capped off her career with a Distinguished Teaching Award for Post-Baccalaureate Instruction\, which she accepted at the start of 2023.
