Professional Interests
I am passionate about return to high level mobility after neurologic event. I also enjoy working with neurologic populations, helping them achieve functional goals. After residency, I plan to work in an outpatient neurologic setting with an end goal of opening a clinic with a focus on return to high level activity specific to neuro populations.
Why I chose to do a residency/fellowship program at UNC
Having gone through UNC’s DPT program, I was well aware of the level of attention I would receive as a resident given my experience as a student. The clinical expertise of the mentors in UNC’s neurologic residency program are unmatched. I viewed this as an opportunity to grow as a clinician so that I could provide my future patients with top level care. My wife and I have chosen to settle in Chapel Hill. UNC’s program offered an opportunity to grow my professional network in the community where I will practice.
What I like about Chapel Hill, NC
Chapel Hill is in close proximity to both the beach and the mountains – it’s not difficult to slip away on a weekend for some rest and recovery after a busy week in the clinic. There are many great local hiking trails, and the cuisine variety is sufficient to appease any foodie!
