Professional interest

I truly enjoy working with patients who are motivated to get back to doing the things they love, whether it be running, climbing, or simply being able to get into and out of the bath for their nightly de-stressor. I find the problem solving that comes with orthopedic physical therapy to be incredibly rewarding. I hope to hone my skills in all aspects of orthopedic PT, and also to share my passion for it through teaching others through clinical education.

Why I chose to do a residency/fellowship program at UNC

I am continually impressed with the art of physical therapy and have found a particular respect for this art while treating patients with orthopedic concerns. Of all the programs I looked at, I felt UNC truly embodied this same dedication to progressing our profession. I knew I would be provided with excellent opportunities for growth, teaching, advocacy, and access to phenomenal mentors.

What I like about Chapel Hill, NC

Chapel Hill is really great. There are tons of great restaurants and coffee shops around. The location is also nice because both the beach and the mountains are only a few hours away! If you are a fan of the outdoors, you can do everything from trail running, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, to mountain biking and more!
