UNC DPT Exploratory Day
The one-day program will consist of informational and educational sessions and panels to provide insight into the physical therapy profession, the admissions process, and what to expect as a physical therapy student.
Join us on March 28, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Bondurant Hall at UNC’s School of Medicine. There is no cost to attend the program. Lunch will be provided.
The registration deadline is March 7th.

Business casual - Can I attend the UNC DPT Exploratory Day if I’ve previously attended the event?
No, this program is for individuals who have not previously participated in past UNC DPT Exploratory Day events. - Can I bring a friend or family member?
No, due to the limited number of spots for the program, only prospective physical therapy students are invited to participate. - Is there a virtual option?
No, there is not a virtual option. However, we offer virtual and in-person information sessions during the summer (typically May-July) and dates will be released closer to the end of the spring semester. - Is parking available on campus?
Yes, free weekend parking is available on campus in the McCauley Parking Deck and Bell Tower Parking Deck. Detailed information related to transportation and parking will be provided closer to the event. - Who is eligible for the program?
Undergraduate students and students who have completed their undergraduate degree and/or are enrolled in a graduate program.
