DESCRIPTION:Spring 2019 Statewide Meeting of Related Services Representatives \nNCDPI Exceptional Children Division consultants are pleased to announce the Spring 2019 meeting of LEA representative practitioners for OT\, PT and School Psychology on Monday\, May 6\, 2019 at UNC Greensboro\, Elliott Center\, 507 Stirling St.\, Greensboro\, NC 27412.  Parking is available in the Oakland Parking Deck on the corner of Forest St. and Spring Garden St. \n  \nRoom assignments at the Elliott Center (subject to change) are as follows: \n\nOccupational Therapists: Auditorium\nPhysical Therapists: Maple\nSchool Psychologists: Alexander\n\n  \nThe statewide meeting for Audiologists will be held on Friday\, May 24 at the following location: \n  \nWinston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Education Building \nConference Room 223\n4801 Bethania Station Rd.\nWinston-Salem\, NC 27105 \nThe date for the statewide meeting for Speech-Language Pathologists is TBD. \nAll meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch.  Participants will need to bring their lunch or dine at one of the nearby area restaurants. \n  \nEach LEA and Charter School in NC is encouraged to send ONE (1) representative\, which may include contracted personnel\, from each discipline.  LEAs and Charters are also encouraged to utilize PRC 118 funding to support participation at this meeting and travel costs.  Participants will need to register in advance using the following registration link: http://bit.ly/RSPSpring2019 \n  \nQuestions about the meetings can be directed to the appropriate consultant: \nSherri Vernelson\, Audiology – sherri.vernelson@dpi.nc.gov \nLauren Holahan\, Consultant for Occupational Therapy – lauren_holahan@med.unc.edu \nLaurie Ray\, Consultant for Physical Therapy – laurie_ray@med.unc.edu \nLynn Makor\, Consultant for School Psychology – lynn.makor@dpi.nc.gov \nPerry Flynn\, Consultant for Speech-Language – pfflynn@uncg.edu \n
