SUMMARY:Caring for Children During the COVID-19 Pandemic: An Acute Care Perspective
DESCRIPTION:The global pandemic related to COVID-19 has had a major impact on healthcare systems. Although the rate of infection is much less in children\, there are still major impacts on pediatric patients and their families. This webinar discusses the response of three major pediatric institutions (Boston Children’s Hospital\, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta) within the United States. It explores the impacts on policies and process changes\, staffing models and psychosocial factors within the acute care setting.
