CALL FOR GENERAL CONFERENCE SESSION PROPOSALS\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
The Exceptional Children Division is pleased to announce that the Call for Proposals for general conference instructional sessions for the\u00a070th Conference on Exceptional Children\u00a0<\/i>is now open through\u00a0August 25, 2021.\u00a0<\/b>The general Conference will be held\u00a0November 18-19, 2021, at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.\u00a0<\/b>Each year thousands of special education teachers, administrators, related service providers, community partners, and families of students with disabilities gather at this event to learn, network and celebrate exemplary practice models, people, and content. As we celebrate this milestone of 70 Conferences, we are excited to announce this year\u2019s theme is:\u00a0\u201cGoing Platinum: Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, Shaping the Future.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n INSTRUCTIONAL SESSIONS:\u00a0<\/b>The Division is seeking proposals for 90-minute instructional sessions on a wide variety of topics pertaining to the education of students with disabilities. These sessions will be held on Thursday, November 18, and Friday, November 19.
