TraCS is especially interested in, and will extend priority to, proposals with a focus on one of three areas:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Transformative Technologies investigators using genomic, proteomic or metabolomics platforms to accelerate a translational discovery toward clinical medicine.<\/li>\n<li>Drugs, Device and Diagnostics Development investigators that have identified a novel and promising drug target; with priority to proposals that address rare or orphan diseases.<\/li>\n<li>Comparative Effectiveness Research investigators focused on the study of and dissemination of clinical and translational research in broad populations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note that applications are not limited to those that address one of these three areas.<\/p>\n<p>Please see <a href=\"http:\/\/tracs.unc.edu\/plan-research\/trac5k-50k.html\">http:\/\/tracs.unc.edu\/plan-research\/trac5k-50k.html<\/a> for more info.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NC TraCS Institute Pilot Grant Program has announced Tuesday, October 22, 2013 as the next submission deadline date for $5k-50k pilot grant proposals.
