Galloway Ridge Presentation: Strategies for Improving Hearing and Communication

While hearing technology has seen amazing advances in the last decade, no device can fully address all auditory challenges. A comprehensive aural rehabilitation plan should include communication strategies, the process of modifying one’s behavior, environment and speaking style to improve communication. Becoming a better advocate for good communication has shown to greatly improve satisfaction with hearing devices and reduce overall frustration. This engaging presentation will offer practical advice for individuals with hearing loss and their communication partners.
