DESCRIPTION:Hearing aids are tiny devices that make big differences in peoples’ lives– but how do you know which one is right for you? Our discussion will take you on a journey through the hearing aid selection process that our Doctors of Audiology go through every day. We will discuss similarities and differences between different manufacturers and styles of hearing aids to give you a greater understanding of what REALLY matters when selecting hearing aids. DESCRIPTION:The UNC Hearing and Communication Center is happy to partner with the UNC Wellness Centers. We will be providing free hearing screenings and consultations at their Northwest Cary location. \nConcerned about your hearing? Want your ears checked for earwax? This hearing screening is quick pass/fail test to see if hearing loss is present. The audiologist will examine your ears for ear wax and provide appropriate recommendations. \nContact the UNC Hearing and Communication Center (919-493-7980) to reserve your screening appointment or simply come by screening station the day of.
