DESCRIPTION:The UNC Hearing and Communication Center is partnering with the UNC Wellness Center in Meadowmont to provide free hearing screenings and consultation at their annual wellness expo. We will also have a table with information regarding audiology and hearing services. \nHaving concerns about your ability to hear the television or saying “what?” often? Wonder if you have a build up of ear wax? Have questions about the ringing in your ears? Come by our booth and have your hearing screened by faculty audiologist Dr. Patricia Johnson.  A hearing screening is a quick pass/fail exam that can indicate if hearing is normal. We will also look in your ears with an otoscope to check for wax and ear health. We’d love to meet you! \n\nThe UNC Wellness Centers Health & Wellness Expo will host activities and vendors to promote information for Health\, Wellness\, and Fitness for the entire family. There will be free health screenings\, massage\, nutrition information\, and much more. Specific exhibitors will be posted at a later date. \nRegistration not required.
