DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss our next Better Hearing Webinar on Wednesday June 1st at 4:00pm ET on: \nConsiderations for Atypical Hearing Losses\nThe two leading causes of hearing loss in adults are age and excessive noise exposure. Both age-related hearing loss (presbycusis) and noise-induced hearing loss lead to high-frequency hearing loss in later adulthood. When fitting hearing aids to a high frequency hearing loss\, there are certain strategies employed in both the physical fit as well as how the hearing aids are programmed to the loss. But not everyone has a hearing loss due to age or noise-exposure.
