In partnership with UNC Wellness Center and EngAGING Issues, UNC HCC is proud to present on OTC Hearing Aids. Over-the-counter hearing aids were recently approved by the FDA for treating perceived mild to moderate hearing loss in adults. While the addition of OTC devices is an overall positive one for the hearing aid industry, it may add to confusion about where and how to begin a hearing journey. Please join UNC HCC doctor of audiology, Patricia Johnson for a summary of the current state of the hearing aid service delivery model and how OTCs may (or may not) be disrupting it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
