Executive Summary of Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences Strategic Plan (2025-2030)<\/h2>\n
Our strategic plan advances our mission to engage in evidence\u2011based teaching, research, and service\u00a0to improve\u00a0the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of speech, language, hearing, and balance. Centered on the pillars of research, education, patient\/clinical care, and people, the plan outlines initiatives to strengthen research infrastructure, expand scholarly opportunities, and grow faculty\u00a0expertise; cultivate and diversify academic pathways while increasing student access and financial support.\u00a0The plan also includes initiatives to\u00a0enhance clinical education and interprofessional care models,\u00a0and foster a collaborative, respectful community that supports ongoing professional development and recognizes excellence. This\u00a0plan aligns with the strategic plans\u00a0of the UNC School of Medicine and\u00a0the\u00a0UNCHealth\u00a0system as well as that of the Department of Health Sciences.\u00a0Together, these priorities position the Division to deliver innovative education, conduct impactful research, and provide exemplary clinical care in service to North Carolina and beyond.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
