The\u00a0Division\u00a0of Speech and Hearing Sciences, housed in the Department of Allied Health Sciences, announces Jessica Steinbrenner \u201904 (\u201913 PhD)\u00a0as its newest faculty member. Steinbrenner comes to the division following seven years as a research scientist at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute<\/a>, where she researched autism spectrum disorder, with a focus on school-based interventions. She has previously served as an adjunct assistant professor for the division. Her appointment begins in January 2021.<\/p>\n

Steinbrenner, who completed a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 2013, said she is thrilled to join the faculty and to have the opportunity to work with top-notch students in the division.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel truly honored to be a part of an incredible team of faculty members and staff within the division, and I am excited about new opportunities for collaboration across the department,\u201d Steinbrenner said.<\/p>\n

Jessica Steinbrenner, PhD, CCC-SLP, completed both her master\u2019s degree and PhD in the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences. The division includes a top-ranked master\u2019s degree program in speech-language pathology and a top-ranked doctoral program in audiology.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
