Eligible applicants are newly admitted students who are under-represented. Under-represented is defined as, but is not limited to, socio-economic status, first generation status, military status, and geography. A strong candidate will demonstrate strong academic promise, potential for leadership, and an interest in giving back. For 2026 only students in Clinical Laboratory Science, Neurodiagnostics and Sleep Science, and Radiologic Science programs can apply. Only newly admitted students can apply for the Thorpe-Mitchell award. For 2026 students in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, Neurodiagnostics and Sleep Science, and Physical Therapy, can submit an application through the application portal.\u00a0 Other divisions may have a separate process for awarding their divisions based funds.
