The Department of Allied Health Sciences hosted its first professional development event of the year for students among all AHS divisions. Amy Blackburn, from UNC Career Services, presented on the topic of\u00a0crafting your resume. In this interactive workshop, students discussed the<\/p>\n

importance of tailoring their resumes to better reflect their\u00a0graduate studies\u00a0within the field of allied health. Through peer review and question and answer segments, students updated their resumes to highlight their clinical experiences and unique presentations and research. This productive event was the first of three offered to all students within the DAHS\u00a0this spring. The next event on\u00a0February 28 will focus on networking, hosted by Lori Haight from the School of Information and Library Science. A sign-up for this event will be sent out mid-February.
