These language patterns may be present by 16 months of age and could be important predictors of language development.<\/p>\n<p>This novel research earned Artis this year\u2019s James J. Gallagher Dissertation Award from the <a href=\"https:\/\/fpg.unc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute<\/a>.
